Finished Dimensions: approx. 8" x 8.25" (20cm x 21cm)

Materials:

Yarn: 1.5 oz., 60 yards (43g, 50m) 100% cotton, Worsted weight 4-ply (or 10-ply for UK, NZ, AU)

Needles:

· U.S. - Size 6

· UK / Canada - Size 8

· Metric - Size 4.0mm

Definitions / Abbreviations:

k = knit (Example - “k3” means to knit 3 stitches)
p = purl (Example - “p5” means to purl 5 stitches)

Notes & Tips:

1. Row 6 and after, all even-numbered rows are “knit across.”
2. I recommend using a Post-It note to “underline” the row you are working to help keep your place.

Directions:

Cast on 36 stitches, leaving at least 6 inches [15cm] of yarn to be woven in when done.
